Very impressive, Melodic Rock yes, but with touches of harder Rock and Metal, Stevie SR and Andy McCormick have dug up a bit of a gem here.

This impressive album is the work of just two men, guitarist/vocalist Stevie SR and drummer Andy McCormick, adding mates to taste. 'Fool's Paradise' starts us off with rather fine Melodic Rock, an eighties almost Hair Metal riff and a pretty funky Stevie solo, but to segue straight into a baby Night Flight Orchestra eighties hard-riffing, synth-twinkling tune with a gorgeously harmonised middle is wonderful, welcome to 'It's A Crime'. 'Spell I'm Under' tricks us into thinking we're getting the smoky AOR treatment before deciding to settle on tough Melodic Rock with an eighties theme and sweet backing vocals, 'Wait' struts down Sunset Strip, pasting up flyers, but knows enough to acoustic up the verse and lift off on a flyaway guitar solo.

The mix here is amazing, everything given a chance to breathe but with the clarity of a new religious convert, It even has a Rock ballad, 'Don't Go', that you won't despise. If Stevie's vocals don't really stand out, his solos are warm and wonderful. And to send us home with simple, synth warbling 'All That Really Matters' is a very good move, just ask the chorus cruising the freeway; things are fine here.

Very impressive, Melodic Rock yes, but with touches of harder Rock and Metal, Stevie SR and Andy McCormick have dug up a bit of a gem here. 'Seize The Night'? These two have Seized The Day!
