It deserves to be sought out, as it's something quite special.

A hot, young Metal band? Well yes, and they've certainly taken a while between debut and sophomore release, but it's worth it.

'Enemies Fate' is heavy and open, the gritty vocals may not be to everyone's taste, but this is a sonic shiv, with a gang chorus too. 'Declaration Day' has lots of space for us to get into the song, sharp though it is. In fact, 'Stolen Valour' has a very nice groove among the angry shouting. 'Kill On Demand' manages to keep the faster pace down to an effective metallic sheen, whilst 'Faces Of War' reveals a NWOBHM energy, which is great to hear. This looks good...

Oh, its heavy alright, but it has lovely calm moments, with plenty of air to let you enjoy the songs and their modern, groovy sheen. Just look at the power of 'P.O.W' combined with its accessibility, a neat trick to pull off. Daniel Lovett-Horn pushes some tasty, trenchant six-string solos our way, and when Steve Graham sings, he has a warm, serviceable voice. This has a good production job too; immediate, but big sounding.

This is released into the wild and left to fend for itself with lots of other Metal albums. It deserves to be sought out, as it's something quite special.
