Firefest Friday update!

Yes, it's on. After weeks of discussion, suggestions and debate, we decided to host a small scale show on the Friday, allowing those fans arriving on the day before the weekend festivities something to do with their time other than sit in the pub. But of course, this being Firefest we don't do things by half, and the final three-band line-up is sure to get fans of melodic rock foaming at the mouth...

Those fun loving Finnish rockers featuring former Crash Diet vocalist Olli Herman who have just released their debut album on Universal and released the magnificent 80's style video for single 'Beautiful Bomb' - check it out here: The band have just been added to the Download bill, so expect these boys to be hitting a crazy fast upward trajectory in the very near future.

The Swedes have just released their second album, 'New Religion', a CD that our very own Mr Dargan proclaimed as possibly the best release of the year so far. A total amalgam of the classic 80's sounds of bands like Motley Crue and Def Leppard, this are one band sure to get you onto your feet and joining the party. One of the bands most requested to be seen live in the UK, so now's your chance.

For an unprecedented third time running, Swedish band-of-the-moment H.E.A.T will be appearing at Firefest. The band's second album will be hitting the stores next month, and the boys will be playing a lot of songs from this at their headline appearance.

So there it is, a phenomenal melodic rock line-up for the Firefest Friday at The Rig, Rock City ... which is limited to 400 tickets!!  350 of which have already gone!!

So if you want to be part of the party, then get your tickets (price £21) from or NOW!!
