If you have any love for Melodic Rock/Hard Rock, then you need this album.

It's been a good few years, four to be precise, since Pink Cream 69 graced us with their musical presence. Therefore, when this little beauty popped through the letter box at Johnson Towers, I can tell you I was more than a little bit excited. However, I did also wonder if the lengthy musical hiatus that band had taken could potentially have a negative impact on this comeback album? The simple answer to that question is no because the first listen to this new release from Pink Cream 69 immediately proves that they have returned with one of their best albums to date, and dare I say it, one of the best Melodic/Hard Rock albums of 2017? I do indeed dare...

Not convinced? You soon will be. Just pop this release on and from the opening track 'We Bow To None' to closer 'The Other Man', you'll find a band at the height of their collective musical powers. It's an album that's full of powerfully melodic songs that will have any fan of the band (or Hard Rock in general) grinning like a lunatic.

You don't take my word for it though, just play any of 'Walls Come Down', 'Untied And Divide', 'No More Fear', 'Man Of Sorrow' the killer 'Path Of Destiny' (with its massive sing-along hook), 'Vagrant Of The Night', the hard-hitting 'Bloodsucker' or 'Whistleblower' at maximum volume and you'll understand just where I'm coming from.

It seems that the years away from Pink Cream 69 have recharged the batteries of David Readman, Dennis Ward, Alfred Koffler, Uwe Reitenauer and Chris Schmidt, and they've come back with a renewed energy and vigour that infuses the music on this album with an infectious and joyous quality; it's of such high quality that you will want to return to it over and over again.

However, that's not all because when you buy a copy of this truly wonderful album there is the added bonus of a nine track second disc to enjoy. This extra "live album" features the likes of 'Break The Silence', 'Wasted Years', 'Talk To The Moon' and the always amazing 'Shame' (amongst others) all recorded from a live show in Ludwigsburg during 2013.

I will conclude by saying that if you have any love for Melodic Rock/Hard Rock, then you need this album, and if you think you don't, then I'm afraid you're probably reading the wrong magazine or website..
