Each and every song just sounds hasty and characterless.

At first sight, the name and the cover of this release can be pretty misleading. What you could expect to be the title of the album is basically the name of the band, and in my opinion the question/exclamation marks seem a little bit cartoonish and frankly pretty ridiculous. Another misleading point is about the existence of another band called The Devil In Me, from Portugal, which plays some really intense and interesting Hardcore Metal (which I strongly recommend, by the way).

Coming to our friends from Belgium, it seems we are dealing with a Street Rock gang who wants to make us roll with some vintage/modern Rock 'n' Roll with lots of references to Guns 'N' Roses, Buckcherry, Backyard Babies and even some Machinegun Kelly, I dare say. But, the point is that differently from the background and stories behind those above mentioned bands, here there's no trace of authenticity, audacity or tangible danger. Too many times I've heard of bold definitions or war cries like "The Bloody Mates from Leicester" or the "Naughty Queer Boys of Notting Hill" or, in this case, "The Bad Boys from Belgium".

Here, there's none of the abrasive, vicious, burning, bumping and grinding lustful spirit of a Street/Sleaze Rock ensemble, nor any sincere Punk misbehaviour. Each and every song just sounds hasty and characterless, coldly arranged according to a cheap riff/chorus pattern that can really annoy just after few minutes of listening. I can also understand that in the flatness and lack of reality in the current Rock scene of today there will never be a new Kory Clarke; a guy who used to be the chauffer for a Detroit gangster and had to move to another town after messing up with him in order to not get killed (for the record, this is what Warrior Soul's 'Charlie Is Out of Prison' is all about). Yet, this is a genre where action and attitude speak a lot louder than words and where the risk of sounding anonymous and even wannabe is omnipresent, so I hope to listen out for some news about these guys in the future. Maybe life on the road will give them some better material and stronger inspiration.
