It's pure and simple Rock with a party atmosphere and deserves to be played loud.

Maybe you remember The Professionals? Hard men, Bodie and Doyle, late seventies? No, not those Professionals! The band! Paul Cook and Steve Jones! The ex-Sex Pistols, pay attention! Now they're back – sort of. Let me explain. Cook and Paul Myers regrouped while touring with Subway Sect and decided to give it another go. They secured a new guitarist/front-man in Tom Spencer and approached Jones for a reunion. He declined, but you know what? They decided sod it and did it anyway! This brings us to the present day and here we are with a new album of fresh, punky, rudimentary Rock.

Rudimentary maybe, but they were able to lure an impressive list of supporting players, "Cookie", we're told, "dusted off his Punk Rock address book and made a few calls", and they answered. Opener 'Good Man Down' features both Steve Jones and Billy Duffy, as does 'Going, Going, Gone', their tribute to Lemmy Kilmister and David Bowie. They bring a certain familiar sound which compliments the gruff vocal delivery. Steve Jones and Duffy also feature alongside Marco Pirroni on 'Take Me Now', and Pirroni, who shares Punk roots with the boys, appears again on 'New Generation'.

Fellow early Punk Mick Jones joins with Victoria Liedtke on the meatier 'Extremadura', while Phil Collen lets rip some scorching solos on 'Let Go' and 'Rewind', and he shares the stage with one Duff McKagan on 'Monkeys', a Darwinian pop at world leaders. McKagan and Chris McCormack duel away on 'Hats Off', and we also have Terri Cook performing on the moodier 'Bad Baby'.

If you want something complex and cerebral, this isn't for you. It's pure and simple Rock with a party atmosphere and deserves to be played loud.
