Although it all revolves round big fat riffs, there's a variety of approaches to hold your attention throughout.

The name, if you're wondering, is Latin for "bream" (yes, the fish)! The band, on their seventh release, deliver some great, grooving riff Rock that doesn't flounder (no, not the fish!). Inspired by those pioneering bands of the seventies, they've captured a lovely organic feel with a warm, live sounding production. The fact that they sing in Swedish too gives it a broader palate, with some Folk and Swedish Rock influences on their smorgasbord too.

They did record an album in English ('Nothing Changes', their third album back in 2003), but since then they have reverted back to Swedish. They are one of a few bands out there at the moment, like Oblivious, who have gone down the route of singing in their native Swedish rather than English, but can still keep the non-Swedish speaker entertained.

Their influences include the obligatory Zeppelin and Sabbath, and 'Löpeld' uses a guitar line that apes 'Whole Lotta Love'; 'Tusen År' has a very Ozzy vocal that uses his phrasing from 'War Pigs'. Both of these tracks go in their own direction though, the first making good use of a forthright bass sound, and the latter has a mid-section that has a slower psychedelic, jazzy, Folk route which works a treat and proves an album highlight. There's raw harmony and backing vocals on 'Vem är Du?' that keep it simple, with no resorting to multi-tracking the voices, so you get a real live feel.

There are only eight songs, but a couple weigh in around the seven and eight minute mark, so it feels substantial. Although it all revolves round big fat riffs, there's a variety of approaches to hold your attention throughout. 'Slutet Av Tunneln' starts off as a low key acoustic ballad before a whopping electric solo brings the track to life mid song. 'Fel Kvinna' has a big fuzzy riff that rips along on a shuffling groove, whilst a cover of cult US band Ashbury's 'Vengeance', renamed 'Vägen Ut', shows their bluesy side with a slower approach and a good clean solo.
