Coma, the biggest rock band in Poland, whose irresistible sixth studio album, ‘Don’t Set Your Dogs On Me’ was released on earMUSIC on February 25th, have confirmed 2 UK headline concerts in April. Dates are:-

25th April – MANCHESTER 02 Academy

26th April – LONDON 02 Academy Islington

Coma have notched up several number one hits in both the single and album charts, let alone multiple gold and platinum awards for all of their previous 5 studio albums in their native Poland.

Fireworks Magazine reviewed ‘Don’t Set Your Dogs On Me’, the band’s first album to be released internationally, in their March / April issue, stating “This record has a variety of styles that help hold your interest over a bruising, intense disc. On ‘Keep The Peace’ the chorus has a slightly hypnotic OSI feel to it; ‘With You’ is quirkily sung coming across like a Polish Counting Crows. ‘Always Summer’ has Pearl Jam undertones and ‘Dance With A Queen’ has a frantic Rage Against The Machine energy. The title track has a raw, modern bilious power. ‘Moscow’ has a vivid narrative and a slower pace that keeps the tail end of the record interesting.”

FameMagazine.co.uk’s review of ‘Don’t Set Your Dogs On Me’ proclaims that “It’s always a real pleasure to be able to assist a band that are on the verge of greatness. Poland’s Coma are one such act. Since 1998 the five piece have been working hard at their craft and that determination is now paying off big time. With several ‘Fryderk Awards’ (think our Brit Awards) under their belts, support slots for the likes of Pearl Jam, Tool and Linkin Park and that all important dedication to live performance (over 100 gigs per year). New album ‘Don’t Set Your Dogs On Me’ sees Coma at their very best production and creativity wise. The 13 songs on offer here take us on a musical journey through the band’s personal demons, feeling and life experiences. What Coma do best is defy the limitations of heavy rock and present their listeners with music that tells a story, which sees some tracks head down the melodic route and others take a more straight forward rock approach. If this album is anything to 2013 will be the year that these five men from Lodz (Poland) take those first steps to global success.”

Don’t miss the chance to catch Coma’s elaborate, electric, stage shows when they fly in to the UK to play ‘Don’t Set Your Dogs On Me’, a major milestone on the band’s road to international acclaim, live.
