Northern Irish Metallers Stormzone ready to unleash 'Three Kings'

Stormzone is a heavy metal band from Northern Ireland, formed in 2006 by vocalist John 'Harv' Harbinson and drummer Davy Bates. (ex Sweet Savage). Steve Moore - Guitars , Graham McNulty - Bass  and Dave Shields - Guitars are the other three members .

Stormzone quickly signed to UK label Escape Music and released their debut album, 'Caught in the act' in 2007. A melodic metal album which also achieved a Japanese release through Marquee/Avalon and featured cover artwork by the legendary Rodney Matthews.   In March 2008 the band played with Dokken guitarist George Lynch on his European tour. The band would play as support and then return to the stage as headliners each night as George Lynch's band. This led to a great reception especially in Spain where they have returned several times touring with Cinderella, Sryper, LA Guns and Y&T. They have also played at Spain's biggest rock festival, Lorca Rock.  In 2009 Stormzone was invited to play at the Sweden Rock festival where they played on the Zeppelin stage after which they changed to a heavier sound and moved to a more suitable home , SPV  company in early 2010. This led to the release of the second Stormzone album, 'Death Dealer'. This led to very positive reviews all over Europe and Stormzone was quickly getting a reputation as a class metal act . 'Death Dealer' was co-produced by the creator of the NWOBHM, Neal Kay, the legendary metal dj who brought Iron Maiden to the attention of their first deals.  A tour of the UK with Tesla came next, then shows with White Lion and Winger followed up by invitations to play at Raismesfest in France, Headbangers Open Air in Germany and then their biggest show so far, last year's Wacken Open Air festival.

SPV  released the third  album shortly after Wacken, and 'Zero To Rage' hit the review pages very positively in November 2011. Afterwards the band hit the road again with Sebastian Bach, played their own headlining shows in Ireland then supported Little Angels as well as playing the Metal Masters festival in , Spain and, most recently, playing a devastating set at Germany’s Metal Assault III festival and with Saxon . Although looked after by Metal Nation Records boss , Jess Cox through their career the band signed a long-term management agreement with Blink Management in Northern Ireland as well as to mega agent  XRay Touring .

And so to album number four for this Irish metal five-piece. With the SPV deal now expired the band wrote and recorded "Three Kings" and with regards to which label was going to release it there was no doubt in the minds of STORMZONE as to who that was going to be as signing to Blink Music Management  this allowed Jess Cox to sign the band to his Metal Nation label to maintain the relationship he had built with them and now he could put all his efforts into promoting STORMZONE and "Three Kings" as head of their record label. Jess and the band met at the Metal Assault festival in Germany earlier in 2013 and agreed that there would be no better label than Metal Nation to have the best interests of STORMZONE at heart. A great relationship had already been formed and the legacy of Jess and the label in the world of the rock was important to the everyone's decision to sign the five-year, three-album deal he offered them.
