Lost UK Jewels Collector's Series

There was a time when UK AOR & Melodic Rock was a much revered genre that was loved by many and played by skilled musicians across the land. Some bands got to live the dream, getting their fifteen minutes of fame, whilst others never had the chance to let the world listen to their - often spectacular - sound.  The “Lost UK Jewels” Collector's Series will endeavour to bring you these “hidden treasures” via Limited Edition (500 copies pressed of each CD) Collector's Volumes. Under the supervision of Classic Rock AOR / Powerplay / AOR Underground journalist Rob Evans, bands like Strutz, Peroux, Graffiti, Geneva, Torino, Voyager UK, Tokyo and many more will deliver some of the strongest, never officially released material that the UK has ever seen. It'll make the average AORster openly weep, praying to the altar of all things melodic...  All the Volumes will be available in standard CD format, featuring re-mastered sound and full color booklets, including unseen pictures, memorabilia and magazine articles. Each release will come with extensive liner notes.

The first two Volumes will be available October 11, 2013 and they'll feature the following:

Vol.1: Strutz – “Through The Ages” Containing all of the band's incredible material, starting with their never officially released album dating back to 1988 + their first 1985 single + some unreleased demos. “Their sound reflects the emergence of acts like FM and BON JOVI combined with fantastic keyboards and superb guitar-playing”. Vol.2: Peroux – “Wheels Keep Turnin'” Containing their classic 4 track EP from 1988 + one unreleased track + their first demo. “Full of surging, stabbing keyboards, theirs was a sound that was built on the foundations laid by the likes of FM and Magnum”. Justice will finally be done. This is the hour of the underdog.  More info: This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
