FIREFEST Unsigned bands competition: Winner opens Firefest 2014! Make your vote count ...

We have had an absolutely phenomenal response - yes seriously - with well over 30 bands entering. Reducing that number to just 6 bands was impossible considering the extremely high standard of all the bands, so we have decided that we will increase the initial number of bands to TEN. The first 5 bands will be played on the Steve Price Rock Show on ARFM this Saturday, November 16th and the second 5 bands will be played on Sunday November 17th. The top THREE will go forward to the final on Saturday November 23rd - and the winner will be announced in early December. The winner of course will open FIREFEST 2014. PLEASE MAKE SURE THAT YOU LISTEN IN AND CAST YOUR VOTE - it's vitally important as essentially the winner will be playing for YOU on Oct 24th 2014. Don't leave it to others to vote - Please make sure that you have YOUR SAY - and also help give a young band a chance to play in front of the BEST audience in the world. Full details of how and where to vote posted shortly - but be sure to tune into WWW.ARFM.CO.UK on Saturday and Sunday November 16th and 17th - the Steve Price Rock Show - 6pm to 9pm (GMT), 7pm to 10pm (CET). Probably get download from issue 101 to save on space & it is read to me from audio voice. Already got Robben Ford Instrumental album "Pure" great stuff & Freddy King singing & guitar I love, so Bernie Marsden new album I will have on Amazon Prime. If you are into 70's Rock then new Help Yourself 6 CD Boxset + info will be good for you plus expert to pay no more
