Their most varied and complete album to date.

Since their debut album 'Rise' hit the streets, Northern Ireland's The Answer have been hotly tipped as the next big thing. With a highly acclaimed second album and a series of high profile tours with the likes of AC/DC and Whitesnake it seemed as nothing could stop their meteoric rise to the top.

The band now find themselves at a critical junction of their career and album number three needs to raise the bar to take them to the next level, and 'New Horizon' might just be the one to do it. From the classy Storm Thorgerson cover, his last work before sadly passing away earlier this year, right through to the vivacious performances by the band, everything on 'New Horizon' sees The Answer deliver big time. Building upon the blues-based foundations of their first two albums but with a more contemporary feel this album sees the band heading into new territory without losing the very essence that has built them such a reputation in the first place. On 'New Horizon', The Answer rock harder and groove deeper.

The title track which opens the album and the stomping 'Somebody Else' will keep long-time fans more than happy, while the distinctly harder edged 'Baby Kill Me' and 'Burn You Down' may draw in a wider audience without alienating their existing fan base. The production by Little Angels' Toby Jepson is inspired, being punchy, powerful and organic, giving the songs room to breathe and grow with repeated listens.

With a total of ten songs clocking in at around the 40 minute mark, this is the perfect length and creates an album that never overstays its welcome and one that will see you reaching for the replay button as soon as the last notes of 'Scream A Louder Love' evaporate from the speakers. With inspired performances by the band throughout, particularly from guitarist Paul Mahon and lead singer Cormac Neeson who really cements his growing reputation as one of his generations finest singers, this is a band going places.

The Answer have unequivocally risen to the challenge laid before them producing produced their most varied and complete album to date ensuring that come the end of the year 'New Horizon' will undoubtedly feature very highly in the polls for the album of the year and may well be the album that does indeed fire them up to the next level.
