Lovers of timeless music should, by hook or crook, get hold of a copy as soon as possible because it's really that good.

I was lucky enough to recently review the new Dennis DeYoung DVD/CD, which was an A/Z of wonderfully performed classic Styx hits. Now it's Foreigner's turn to do something quite similar as they have decided to record this album in celebration of the anniversary of the '4' album's initial release. 'The Best Of 4 And More' does just what it says on the tin; what you get to hear is almost an hour and a half of classic Hard Rock and AOR songs...ones that shaped our lives...tracks that you find yourself marvelling at because of their depth and brilliance. In a nutshell this is – Foreigner performs the best songs from '4' with some of their other classic Hard Rock gems thrown in.

That would however be a massive injustice to this wonderful band and album because they were on fire when they took to the stage at the Borgata Hotel's Music Box Theatre. The whole group, from Mick Jones downwards, play as if their very lives depended on them doing a great show and with the added luxury of having a singer like Kelly Hansen (who has never sounded better) belting out the songs...you soon find yourself in musical hog heaven.

What also becomes evident as you continue to listen is that even though Foreigner became known as a ballad band, they really knew how to write and perform fantastic Hard Rock tracks, songs that stir your musical soul and have you fist pumping the air along too them. Just look at the tracks for the proof you need that they know how to Rock. From the first album we have 'Feels Like The First Time' and 'Cold As Ice' and from 'Double Vision' there's 'Hot Blooded'. When it comes to '4' you'll find the band blasting out 'Night Life', an epic version of 'Juke Box Hero', 'Break It Up', 'Waiting For A Girl Like You', 'Woman In Black', 'Girl On The Moon' and 'Urgent' replete with superb Saxophone solo. From 'Agent Provocateur' there's a barnstorming version of 'I Want To Know What Love Is' with a full gospel choir backing Hansen, and finally the wonderful 'Say You Will' from the 'Inside Information' album.

So if great songs and performances isn't enough, the album itself has been recorded using Hi-Definition production techniques and it sounds absolutely incredible. With its rich powerful audio, this album will be something that you just have to hear for yourselves, to get the best from it.

Foreigner have the songs and musicianship to keep you entertained, enthralled and enraptured throughout and lovers of timeless music should, by hook or crook, get hold of a copy as soon as possible because it's really that good.
