One of the highlights of this live album can be clearly detected in its total veracity and authenticity.

Recorded at a sold out show in Memmingen, Germany on 2nd April 2016, this live album is the umpteenth evidence that Heavy Metal, in its most classical and conservative expression, still attracts legions of people all around the world and not only in the notoriously devoted Germany.

The whole 2016 world tour, which includes this performance and still has to reach the United States and Canada, revealed itself as a huge success for former Accept vocalist Udo Dirkschneider and his young ensemble that even features his son Sven on drums. According to Udo Dirkschneider this tour must represent the final epitaph on a part of his history that he wants to relegate to the past for good and that's why the track-list of this double live album contains only the Accept repertoire. Frankly speaking, this intent sounds pretty ambiguous and it comes across more like a clever commercial move than an actual act of burning bridges which will never manage to divert the fans from demanding Accept songs from him. However, as long as the show entertains so many people and everybody seems to be happy with that... who cares?

For many, 'Up To The Limit', 'Monsterman', 'Metal Heart', 'I'm A Rebel', 'Fast As A Shark', etc. will probably never sound so full-bodied, dramatic and surgically sharp as the ones proposed by Wolf Hoffmann and company. Guitarists Andrey Smirnov and Kasperi Heikkinen are properly skilled and ready for the part, of that there is no doubt, but they play just like a good cover band would do. Conversely, Udo Dirkschneider himself delivers more charisma and power than ever and the interaction with the audience is absolutely great.

Actually, one of the highlights of this live album can be clearly detected in its total veracity and authenticity, thanks to a production that makes every note sound so vivid, not to mention the overall quality of the performance, which really deserved this kind of documentation. This is especially true and poignant if Udo Dirkschneider sticks to his aforementioned comments that he will never sing these masterpieces again.
