The choruses are tight, the guitar arrangements are exciting and the groove section is sturdy and intense.

Street Symphonies Records is a prolific and extra-niche label from Italy which had the balls to stand out from the flatness of the conservative Italian music industry. They operate independently in the Sleaze/AOR/Melodic Rock underground scenario of today, promoting and producing bands and artists like Alessandro Del Vecchio, Shining Line, Jolly Power, Johnny Burning, Peep Show, Skull Daze, etc. (just to name the ones that the smartest connoisseurs of the mentioned genres might know). The courageous founder of this project was Stefano Gottardi, a prestigious Rock journalist who used to write for the main Rock magazines in Italy, and who is now investing all of his effort in basically creating and supporting the Glam/Sleaze Rock scene in a country that's always been pretty hostile towards Rock music.

Easy Trigger had actually issued a first album with this hostile etiquette in 2012. After going through some line-up changes, today they're ready to pull the trigger again and surely they haven't miss the target this time. If with the debut album they indulged in some constrained Rock 'n' Roll stereotypes, with this new release they've dragged them down into the dirt and made them the real deal. Some tour experience with Faster Pussycat, a stronger singer and the joining of the group by a former drummer of Punk hardcore legend Raw Power (Fabio Ferrari) made the rest.

This band could easily compete with Hardcore Superstar on their own territory and now kick their arses. The choruses are tight and yelled from the soul ('My Darkness', 'The Watchmaker'), the guitar arrangements are exciting and unpredictable ('Blind', 'Sold Out') and the groove section, needless to say, is sturdy and intense ('God Is Dead'). Also, differently from their main Swedish reference, their attitude is still kept streetwise and radical, devoid of any condescending Pop grant. I really hope Easy Trigger can hold on to this line-up and keep on lubricating their engine with the live activity. Regardless, this disc is already a security for their overwhelming talent.
