The years of touring and overcoming all of life's obstacles have helped to hone their craft into a substantial and powerful musical force.

You have to hand it to Eve To Adam; what with fall-outs with Desmond Child, who gave them a massive leg-up in their early days with supporting slots with Mötley Crüe and Scorpions, to splitting with their management who then withheld their gear, that they are still going with the same determination and belief twenty years later is meritorious. Over fifty sold out dates with Daughtry back in 2007, after the release of their second album, followed by numerous tours with the likes of 3 Doors Down, Tesla, Halestorm, In This Moment and Escape The Fate, amongst many others, are testament to the band's pulling power.

Rocking up with their fifth album in a chequered career that has seen five bassists come and go, this original Floridan group, now based in New York, may not be too familiar with a lot of readers, but they should be. The single 'Immortal' from their last album (2013's 'Locked & Loaded') has racked up over a million hits on YouTube, so they're hardly an undiscovered American gem. The influences originally ranged from seventies Led Zeppelin through to eighties Van Halen and Guns 'N' Roses, and adding some present-day Stone Sour, with the vibe, energy and unpredictability of the performances being the central equation. You can also throw into the mix some Audioslave, A.I.C., Stone Temple Pilots, Foo Fighters, Perfect Circle, Nine Inch Nails, Puscifer and Pantera as well, just so there's no doubt.

Vocalist Taki Sassaris reminds me of Chester Bennington in places, and with 'Chasing Ghosts' for example, displaying Linkin Park subtleties, it wouldn't surprise me if they are a hidden latter day influence. His drummer brother Alex is the remaining founding member, and these two, plus producer Elvis Baskette, performed the majority of the music. Long-time guitarist Gaurav Bali and ex-Puddle Of Mudd rhythm player Adam Latiff departed in 2014 after the '...Loaded' release, with new guys Jeremiah Bennett on rhythm, Dillon Hogan on lead, Chris Warneron drums and DJ Nick Brockmeyer with electronic loops and samples being the touring musicians.

The brothers have a real authenticity about them that can't be faked. The years of touring and overcoming all of life's obstacles have helped to hone their craft into a substantial and powerful musical force that demands that you sit up and take notice. I hope that you all do.
