The ten tracks offer a combination of grand choral impact and pacey, verging on wildly galloping melodic Thrash.

Is that a Gallic flavor detectable in Galderia's second album or is Power Metal the same all the world over? The French quintet's debut, 'The Universality', launched the Galderia philosophy, something they've termed "the universal spirit of unity and the elevation of consciousness". Their bold return, not surprisingly, carries more of the same message. A message, given the current state of the planet, which is a refreshingly alternative to a pervading atmosphere of darkness and melancholia, and although music may not save the world, it does make it a better place to live – a common ideology of a vast percentage of musicians today.

The burning question you may possibly ask is how it translates into musical form. There's a promise of the 'Return Of The Cosmic Men' emerging from Starchild Of The Universe Studios being more melodic than ever, matched by the distinctive tag of three-way lead vocals from Sebastien Chabot, guitarist Thomas Schmitt and bassist Bob Saliba, the latter pair taking a more active role in taking their vocals more upfront. What side of the fence does the vocal diversity fall? Well, on the one hand toggling between different lead vocalists provides variety, while on the other, there's the possible element of inconsistency. Pay your money, take your choice, but for me... it works. Nonetheless, they contribute to a set of grandly arranged songs that come in a package marked "Epic".

Characterised by several uplifting fanfares ('Shining Unity' is an opening musical vision and the perfect foil to accompany the cover image), the ten tracks offer a combination of grand choral impact and pacey, verging on wildly galloping melodic Thrash. From a syrupy sweetness, 'Living Forevermore' shifts gears into a giant memorable chorus, and don't they know it, making sure it's made a mark in an extended coda. The grand power ballad 'Wake Up The World' is packed with angst and drama, with the title track veering towards the sort of Medieval mood that Blackmore's (Purple) Night on speed might produce. The power and the glory of the central musical seam evolves into a fuller, musical theatre-style direction on 'Pilgrim Of Love' – a true towards-the-end-of-album track if ever there were one. Swaying arms and cellphone lights (no lighters – health & safety...) at the ready as you respond to the clarion call – from the ashes, returning to the glorious light.

What else is there to say... except, "Galderians unite"!
