These guys deserve some serious consideration if you're looking for some hyper-charged, ballsy, gritty, arousing power Rock 'n' Roll.

Long live the FerreTTs! Especially when they are dressed up in web stockings and knee-high, stiletto heeled leather boots, and they look at you with those nasty bedroom eyes. This hilarious band from NY City seems to know exactly what Sleazy, larger than life, lusty (Hair) Glam Metal is all about. Naughty double-meaning lyrics, curvy riffs, lascivious hooks, a busty production and a pretty sense of grotesque make this gang of chubby machos in lipstick absolutely irresistible.

Just from the Ratt/Britny Fox-like logo and the hyper-sexualizing cover, I knew this album could make my rainy day shine and, although Ratt and the Fox surely can be mentioned among their influences, their musical compound delivers a massive Twisted Sister Punkish, insurgent vibe that definitely says a lot about their New York base. Their 'Jason Lives' (a splatter tribute to the movie 'Friday the 13th Part VI: Jason Lives') even hints to a riff reprise from 'Run For Your Life', while 'Year of The Ferret' and 'Jobber' sound like they were released as alter egos of 'The Kids Are Back' and 'Under The Blade'. Besides, what to say about the mammoth hymn 'Boys Night Out (On Gay Street)'?! Not even Dee Snider and company could have reached such boldness!

Though they used to somewhat have the look of transvestites on steroids... FerreTT push forward the boundaries of provocation further, as you can probably tell. However, the bestial instinct is not extinguished yet, since the W.A.S.P./Quiet Riot sounding 'Orangutan Gigantus' is there to remind you not to mess up with big monkeys, and seriously, I love the metaphor behind it of leaving nature doing its own thing and not compromising its own progress. Indeed, my respect for nature (and ferrets) has never been so high in my life like now, so let the FerreTTs rule!

These guys deserve some serious consideration if you're looking for some hyper-charged, ballsy, gritty, arousing power Rock 'n' Roll; it will make your 2017* freshly and magically sound like 1985.
