Punkers will surely love the purity of this. For others, there may be too much booze and not enough glory.

"Lads, we've been together eight years now, produced three albums. Maybe it's time we showed what we can do, how we've grown, put in some new styles?"... "Really?"... "Nah, had you going there, let's just keep kicking the Punk 'N' Roll can down the road".

Feel sure that didn't happen at all of course, but that's what it sounds like. Londoners Booze & Glory (they get little further than that name) must be doing okay, after all, they are touring the US this year, something some bands wait their whole careers for.

Fireworks - The Ultimate Magazine For Melodic Rock Music

Their sound should do well there, daubed as it is with whiskey, and spotted as it is with Celtic intention. They are a Punk band, the headlong rush of 'Last Journey' and 'Start Believing' are testament to that, but there is a big, beery bash in the likes of 'Days, Months, Years' and 'Back On Track', Mike's Cockney vocals in the former a real plus. There is also a bit of Irish Punk goodness of The Pogues variety and whiff of Pop Punk, they even have the foresight/temerity to include a Kirsty McColl sound-alike for 'Blood From A Stone'; this does at least play well as it gives them a hook.

Mostly, this is one after the other attacks, with a generally similar construction. Punkers will surely love the purity of this. For others, there may be too much booze and not enough glory.
