My name is Enrico Navella, an Italian guy living in London who's devoted his own life to rock music since he was a little kid. I was on, behind, beside, in front of the stage. Been a singer, bouncer, bartender, tour manager, rock club PR, events & concerts coordinator, press office manager, interpreter but... above all, I've been a writer.

My experience includes a long period work as a music journalist which I've practiced for more than twelve years, both on internet and print. In the first case, I've written (and still do) reviews and interviews, both in English and Italian language, for a webzine called www.audiodrome.it, which recently became www.thenewnoise.it. In the latter, I was part of the editorial staff of Classix and Classix Metal, the two most important magazines about classic rock and metal in Italy and the only two real competitors of the Italian issue of Classic Rock.

I'm an avid CD collector - by the way, I think I'm one of the most addicted fans of the Hollywood rock scene in the world. I'm a California man, spiritually speaking. ;)

Though too many to list, my all time favourite albums can easily be:

'Appetite For Destruction' – Guns N Roses
'Van Halen' – Van Halen
'Under Lock And Key'/'Back For The Attack' - Dokken
'No Respect' – Vain
'Bezerk' - Tigertailz
'Things You've Never Done Before'- Roxx Gang
'Only Child' – Paul Sabu
'Never Say Surrender' – Red Dawn
'Double Eclipse' – Hardline
'Out Of The Cellar' – Ratt
'In The Heart Of The Young' – Winger
'Unruly Child' – Unruly Child'
'Under The Influence' – Wildside
'1987'- Whitesnake
'Boys In Heat' – Britny Fox
'Deadboys in Trash City' – Alleycat Scratch
'Wicked Sensation' – Lynch Mob
'Atomic Playboys' – Steve Steven's Atomic Playboys
'Battle Cries' – The Brave

And on and on...

Quote of the day

“If people want to snigger at Manowar, it’s up to them. I’d rather have 10,000 warriors as fans than a million posers.” (Joey DeMaio, Manowar) - Quotes collected by Dave Ling (www.daveling.co.uk)
