Alex Falcone - 'Aphasia'

Not only is Alex Falcone a multi talented individual, but must be pretty well respected to attract the likes of Kee Marcello, Doogie White, Alessandro Lotta ,and James Christian from “Europe, Rainbow, Rhapsody and House of Lords respectively. The results are surprising and very enjoyable with Alex Falcone displaying his love for the Hammond organ and more modern sounding synths. The whole album centres around one excellent song, “Angel Blue”, with soaring vocals and great song writing. When I saw the track listing and noticed a cover of The Sweet's "Alexander Graham Bell” eye brows were raised and I was intrigued to see how there take on such a classic song would pan out, no such worries they pulled it off and did a sterling job with Alex Falcone handling vocals himself. Apparently work is underway on “Ashasia 2” and if they can keep writing songs in the same vein as “Racing with the Spirits” then the follow up should sit nicely alongside this fine release. Strictly for fans of old school classic rock.
