Bon Jovi - 'Live At Madison Square Garden'

Whoever decided to release this DVD simply has so much to answer for; does this person sleep easy at night?
Does this person have a conscience? This simply is one of the most blatant money grabbing rip offs from the global behemoth that is “Bon Jovi” Recorded in 2008 on the “Lost Highway” tour all this DVD says to me is “Going through the motions” with Mr Sambora looking tired and disinterested and only on a few occasions did I see
him roll his shoulders up and let his guitar shred, he obviously likes playing the heavier tracks but he is told to play songs such as “Hallelujah” “Make a Memory” “Whole Lot Of Leavin” You get all the hits as well as the
Strategically placed dolly birds and sexy looking housewives that seem to be in every other camera shot. You
get the fake high fives and cheesy grins. You get everything apart from a genuine rock n roll band. Don’t think
for one minute that I hate “Bon Jovi” as I have paid my £225 for a ticket in London in June, but never again. I remember paying £11 for their gig in London in 1983 and never would I have believed this would be the end result. If anything could be scraped up into something positive then it was a great stage show with some fantastic lighting. But that’s it. “Bad Medicine” is listed as a track but you don’t get to see it as it’s playing in the background as the credits roll. I just wish I had seen this before I brought a ticket that’s all I can say. (You have been warned).
